Are you tasked with finding a communications solution to your outdated phone system? You're not alone. At their recent Executive UC & C Council in Washington DC, Enabling Technologies sat down with several customers to discuss how they replaced aging phone systems with Skype For Business.

"We were on an old Nortel System that was no longer supported, and eBay and Craigslist was our biggest vendor, or part supplier, and that became an issue," said James Thompson.

Switching to Skype for Business with Enabling Technologies makes sense for many organizations. You won't have to worry about staff struggling with proprietary systems, either.  Skype For Business runs on familiar Windows operating systems, and allows users to click to *collaborate* from within Outlook, SharePoint, and other Office products.

"We wanted a solution that enabled people to work in the tools they're already familiar with, and that was key for us," said Alan Levine.

Switching to Skype for Business not only improves communications - it also provides real ROI.

"That ROI has been realized very quickly. I think within 12 months we've more than recouped our investment in Lync," said Ralph Bellandi.

And for those thinking of going it alone, the CIOs we spoke to agreed - Enabling Technologies made the process easy and hassle-free.

"If I wouldn't have used Enabling, there probably would have been a lot of things I would have looked at and probably done wrong," said Jim Rowe.

"Enabling was great, and they were with us from start to finish," said James Thompson.

These executives aren't alone in their decision to trust Enabling and Microsoft with their critical communications. According to Gartner "Microsoft is on track to become a top 3 global telephony provider by 2016."
